Following Christ means we don’t date the world’s way.
We date God’s way.
Be careful what you’re attracted to
A beautiful profile doesn’t reveal character.
A Bible verse in someone’s bio doesn’t guarantee spiritual maturity.
Saying “I’m a Christian” isn’t the same as living like one.
Jesus said,
“By their fruit you will recognize them.” — Matthew 7:16
Look beyond chemistry.
Look for consistency.
Look for humility.
Look for someone whose life points you closer to Christ—not further away.
Date with intention, not desperation
Ask meaningful questions early.
Pray before your emotions become deeply invested.
Don’t ignore red flags because someone is attractive.
Don’t lower your standards because you’re tired of waiting.
And don’t confuse constant communication with genuine commitment.
Peace is often a better indicator than butterflies.
